Goodbye to Mike Stanghellini

Northwest Beekeepers Association President Beatrice Tassot (left) holds a cake in honor of Dr. Mike Stanghellini (right). Mike was the Rutgers apiculturist where he concentrated on organic control and suppression of parasitic bee mites, berry and vine crop pollination and stress mitigation in commericial bee colonies. While only with Rutgers for a little over a year, he is missed. Mike moved on to California. The apiculturist position at Rutgers remains open since Mike's departure.
