Getting Up Close and personal

Scott Horsnall, president of the Northwest Jersey Beekeepers Association, and his young friend, Hope, take a close look at the bees inside the false wall at the spring state meeting on June 6, 2009 at the JCC Camps in Medford.

Typically, while there are a number of beekeepers in New Jersey who will remove colonies of honey bees from inside the walls of a structure, the homeowner will be responsible for the repairs to the structure that will be needed after the honey bees, beeswax comb, honey and brood are all removed.

Beekeepers who can be contacted to perform this service can be found on our swarm collectors webpage.
